GR8 Dragon - holo on holo

Good morning! Today I have you guys a manicure using a polish I forgot to introduce in the recent blog sale haul! The polish I got is GR8 from China Glaze's OMG collection that probably doesn't need that many introductions. :)

Huomenta! Tänään mulla on näyttää teille lakkaus, jonka lakan unohdin täysin mainita viimeisessä blog-sale ostoskatsauksessa. Tää lakka on China Glazen OMG-kokoelman GR8, kokoelma tuskin tarvitsee juurikaan esittelyjä. :)

This is how GR8 looks on its own, with a topcoat. The holo isn't that visible in this one as the angle of my hand is so weird and away from the light a bit. But it's still gorgeous! I've seen this described as gold but I like to think there's a hint of green in this one, too! I don't know if it's the polish or if my eyes is playing tricks on me.

Tältä GR8 näyttää itsekseen,  päällyslakan kanssa. Holo ei ole kovin selkeä tässä kuvassa ja kuvakulmassa, koska käsi on oudosti vähän valosta pois päin, mutta uskokaa mua, tää on upea! Oon nähnyt, että tätä kutsutaan kullaksi, mutta mun mielestä tässä on häivähdys vihreää... Tai sitten lakan hologrammi tai mun silmät pelleilee mun kustannuksella.

I got inspired by lovely Bregje of Oooh, shinies! who stamped one of her recent manicures with a-england's Saint George. I wanted to stamp on GR8 as well but didn't want to use a cold tone like Saint George, so I decided to give Dragon a shot as a stamping polish! Based on my experiment and stamping on a lighter base, this polish works just as well as Saint George! That's how I ended up having a holo on holo manicure. ;) In the picture below you can actually see how gorgeous the holo of both of these polishes is!

Inspis tähän lakkaukseen tuli ihanalta Bregjeltä, joka käytti yhdessä viime aikaisissa lakkauksissa a-englandin Saint Georgea stamppaukseen. Halusin stampata jotain GR8:n päälle, mutta en halunnut mitään niin kylmää sävyä kuin Saint George, joten ajattelin kokeilla miltä Dragon näyttää. Tämän kokeilun perusteella lakka soveltuu erittäin hyvin ainakin vaalealle pohjalle. Joten siinäpä tämän kertainen, holoa hololle lakkaus. Alla olevassa kuvassa näkyy jopa kuinka upea molempien lakkojen holo on, kannattaa klikata isommaksi!
