Good morning! Today I have a manicure I did partly inspired by The Nailasaurus and partly inspired by the theme contest I tried to have which apparently failed because of the lack of publicity. These nails are both, 80s rock and pop! They are partly inspired by Madonna, partly by Bon Jovi.
Huomenta! Tänään näytänkin kynnet, jotka tein osittain The Nailasauruksen ja osaksi oman lakkaus-kilpailun innoittamana. Harmittaa edelleenkin, kun kisa kaatui... Luultavasti syynä oli huono mainostus. Näissä kynsissä yhdistyy niin 80-luvun rokki kuin poppikin, osa inspiksestä tuli Madonnalta ja osa Bon Jovilta.
I had so much fun doing these nails even though about EVERYTHING that could go wrong went wrong. The topcoat I chose to use as an adhensive for the bullion beads dried too fast, so the beads moved around when I tried to coat them with SV. Also the stamping was impossible to get straight as I haven't used konads for such a long while. Also I bumped few nails of my right hand before I was properly finished with them, so the polish got a few wrinkles... There's just a few problems I ran into. lol However, I'm so glad you can't really see the problems I had and I do love the nails!
Näiden kynsien tekeminen oli hauskaa, mutta oikeasti lähes kaikki mikä saattoi mennä pieleen myös meni pieleen! Päällyslakka, jota käytin bullion beadsien kiinnitykseen kuivui liian nopeasti, joten beadsit liikkuivat paljon, kun yritin laittaa toista kerrosta päällyslakkaa. Lisäksi stampit oli mahdotonta saada suoraan, kun en ole aikoihin niitä käyttänyt. Totta kai piti juosta vielä kynnet edellä seinään ja kesken eräinen oikea käsi meni pilalle. Argh. Onneksi nämä virheet ei kuitenkaan hyvin pahasti näy tästä kuvasta. Nää onnistui loppujen lopuksi ihan kivasti!

Yes! I had this problem tonight! Everything went wrong and what seemed like maybe a 30 minute mani turned into over 2 hrs long! You did a great job on yours!
